Get To Know Me

Hi! My name is Natalie.

Young in spirit but also called an old soul. I love that I can be seen as both. At weddings, you'll find me on the dance floor with the kids and can hold up a conversation about my favorite big band musician with your grandma. I love getting to connect with people on many different levels.

I grew up on the golden hills of Southern California, but half of my heart remains in New Zealand. My dad's originally from there, which makes me half. And I'm so grateful every time I get to travel back to see the country that holds so much beauty. Which means travel is a natural passion of mine. I love to explore everything about a place I'm visiting, especially the thrift scene or the national parks if I can. Fun fact: half of my closet is thrifted vintage finds.

When I’m traveling, I’m fascinated by the culture, the food, the clothes, everything that makes up a community people call home.

And luckily, I get to document the beauty I find with my favorite travel partner—my camera. Another fun fact: I love photographing on film cameras. It fits in well with my love of all things vintage. I adore how nostalgic it looks. It makes me happy. Another thing that makes me happy is music. I made a playlist of some of my absolute favorite songs. If you’re interested in listening to it, it’s below!

So what does all of this mean when you're trusting me to document your Elopement?

Great question. I bring all of my passion for helping you choose an untraditional experience, as well as documenting who you are as a couple. I try and give you space and time for you both so you can enjoy the moment without it feeling intrusive.

I do this because I truly believe in marriage, and having the day you choose represents what feels most like you. I’m so excited for you to choose such an intimate and life-changing experience. So thank you in advance for wanting to get to know me, and I can’t wait to connect with you too.

QUESTION

Book a Pre-Made Travel Tour or Build Your Own Itinerary From Scratch?

ANSWER

Something you might not know about me is that I love to plan for travel and build what my vacation will look like. I was supposed to go to Italy this summer, but COVID-19 derailed my plans. For an entire year I was dedicated to learning everything about the places I wanted to see and planned our two week trip from scratch.

It's also something I enjoy doing. I think because I'm genuinely so excited to see the place I'd been dreaming about, so for me it makes me feel closer to going! It's also something I offer couples too if they honeymoon anywhere internationally, is making them a itinerary and helping them book for their plans!
